Dr. Marlin-Bennett is Professor of Global Political Economy and International Relations at Johns Hopkins University.


JOINING THE WEBCONFERENCE

1. Go to: http://cotelcocave.syr.edu on Friday, November 14 at the beginning of the event (1:30pm Eastern Time)
2. Click on "APSA ITP - Rapid Response - Social Media in the 2008 Elections."
3. Enter your username (enter your firstname) and leave the password field blank.
4. Listen to the panel presentations and pose oral or written questions and comments.

This should be really really good. I have to miss the beginning but I hope there will be space for me to listen in.

  2. We've just updated the webconference info (http://www.apsanet.org/content_60167.cfm) to include a link to check that you have the latest version of Java runtime environment http://www.elluminate.com/support/).

    It is always such a bummer to try to get on a webconference and find that you have to load up software first. So, if anyone is planning to join us, please check your system first.
