NTEN Water Cooler (formerly Office Hours) Chat 11/13/08

We were lucky enough to have a YAPpy hour with Holly Ross and Anna Richter of NTEN who were in town from Portland last week, and after a great discussion about how fab-u-lous Office Hours is, and how it's actually more like hanging by the water cooler, I am officially renaming our regular Thursday slot the Water Cooler Chat. W00t! I also want to say how great it was to hang out IRL with Jon Camfield, and Maggie McGary, regular chatroom buds, as well as Qui Diaz of the Buzz Bin. Yes, I always say, technology enables community!

Last week, we had a really fantastic chat with a grad student from Brussels, Rob aka @adgenius, who is writing his thesis on social media for business, specifically on determining social media ROI. We were able to give him a bunch of resources for the theoretical/academic sources he needed for his thesis. We also hung out with some of our usual suspects, and YAP SuperFan Saul Colt of Freshbooks, stopped by for a chinwag too.

Whether the conversation is deep or just a nice break from the dullness of your daily routine, though, we're all about sharing. Pick our brains, we'll tell you our take on things.
