Heard of the Association Social Media Wiki? (Say, Why yes, Maddie, I have! even if you haven't...haha).
This is THE one-stop shop for where to find what associations are doing with social media. You can browse, search for organizations by name, search by social media type or space (eg Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs etc.), check out the most popular pages... and of course you can and should add your organization, even just as a placeholder while you figure out your socmed initiatives.
Not been there yet? Here's Lindy's awesome 5 minute intro video on how to add yourself to the site.
The site was originally created by Jeff De Cagna of Principled Innovation, and Lindy and I are very pleased to let you know he's handed over the reins to us so we can manage the site over the long term. We're very happy to take this on and continue to help you make this the best free resource for associations looking for help with social media. Associations are great about sharing best practices, and finding other groups which are doing what you want to do is a perfect way to start thinking about what you want YOUR social media presence to look like.
One of the first new things we've done is added a "Case Study of the Month". Whoo hoo! Our first case study is InfoComm International - check out what they are up to! Congrats guys!
We'll highlight another association each month. We also plan to start a "featured entries" section, which will highlight stuff we think rocks and should be shared. We love our industry and we love the site, and if you do too, please use it, browse within it, add your organization to it, tell your friends and colleagues, forward it, tweet it, spread the love. Thanks!

Woo hoo--I'm psyched ASHA is #17!
I think this year as more and more associations get into social media this wiki is going to be getting a LOT of use. I look forward to keeping up with what other associations are doing and their successes--there are a lot of places doing really cool stuff.
I'm also working on a post for the wiki of all the Association people on Twitter. Never realized there were so many!
Have to put in all the hyperlinks, but hope to have it up there in a week or two. I think a wiki like this will be an important place for us all to connect with each other (which is why I'm putting together the Twitter post). Thanks to Jeff for starting it and thanks to you and Lindy for maintaining it. You all rock!
